June 11, 2001. Monday.

Today would be the final day in Toronto, Ontario. Eileen, Angel, and I went down to Chinatown and ate some greasy Chinese food. The restuarant we ate at was a little small and full of patrons, so at many larger tables, customers had to sit with customers they did not know, which is fine with me. We walked around Chinatown for a while, and it seemed the place wanted to cator to tourists, but then it also wanted to cator to the locales.

Another Monday, and I didn't have to come into work- I sorta like the way this is working out.

During some quiet time alone, I was able to read some more of Genesis from the Bible.

Eileen and I hung around driving down to the stadium and beach, and then it was getting late, and I wanted to leave before the sun started setting. She was a lot of fun to hang around with. I got lost trying to get out of downtown and getting on the Q.E.W. heading east.

I wasted at least an hour trying to find the Q.E.W., and when I did find it, I was relieved, but it was getting dark. The first thing on my mind was to get of the dense Q.E.W, and get on Highway 2 and drive along the coast of Canada and US. When I finally got on Highway 2, I somehow to head in the wrong direction back towards Toronto. That little fiasco cost another 30 minutes. I'm not sure where I wanted to go at this point, I just knew that I had to stop in Boston before heading back to Houston. Right now, I would just go east, and figure it out in the morning.

I drove all night and finally settled on a spot in the light rain at a boat ramp parking area outside Poboard, Ontario. There I would sleep in the back of Cresseida until morning. I ate all the Vietnamese fruits which Eileen purchased for me back in Toronto before leaving.
